About the Role

Key duties involve people leadership—recruiting talent, mentoring, coaching, managing performance, and recommending compensation adjustments—and project leadership, acting as the primary contact for medium to large mandates, integrating workstreams, maintaining schedules and budgets, and leading internal and external meetings. Additional responsibilities include providing regular client reports, supporting internal reporting needs, maintaining and growing client relationships, and assisting with business‑development activities such as scope definition and proposal preparation. • Lead and mentor team members, overseeing recruitment, performance management, and compensation recommendations. • Act as primary project lead for medium to large workplace transformation mandates, integrating workstreams and ensuring schedule and budget adherence. • Coordinate communications among tenants, PSPC, project groups, and vendors; facilitate meetings and resolve conflicts. • Deliver regular client reports and support internal reporting requirements. • Build and maintain client relationships; contribute to business development, scope definition, and proposal preparation.

What You Bring

We are seeking a full‑time Workplace Strategist, Integration to join our team, working hybrid (2‑3 days per week) from any BGIS office in Ottawa, Markham, or Montreal. The role serves as a connector, ensuring coordinated communications, direction, and outcomes while advocating for occupant satisfaction throughout workplace fit‑up and transformation projects. The strategist collaborates closely with client organizations to develop integrated solutions that may include early consultation, interior design, furniture procurement, relocation, sustainable decommissioning, and change‑management programs. Experience in workplace transformation and real‑estate modernization is essential. Candidates must hold a university or college degree and have three to five years of experience in corporate workplace experience or project delivery services, with education or certification in interior design, change management, project management, or facilities management. Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, MS Project, and strong verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills are required. • Hold a bachelor's degree plus 3–5 years of relevant experience in workplace transformation, interior design, or project delivery. • Possess certifications or education in interior design, change management, project management, or facilities management. • Proficient in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and MS Project; demonstrate strong verbal, written, analytical, and organizational skills. • Manage medium to large projects with a service‑driven mindset and strong meeting leadership abilities.
