About the Role
Assemblers are responsible for building pre- and sub-assembly components, performing ground-bond testing, and packing completed electrical systems. The work involves hand tools, PIV equipment, and strict adherence to codes and work-cell standards, while interpreting blueprints, Manufacturing Tracking System (MTS) data, and On-Floor Sheets (OFS). Daily duties include participating in toolbox meetings and supporting shop-floor management activities such as Tier 1, QCPC, 5S, and the Material Review Board. Assemblers also engage in Level I on-the-job training and cross-training for Level II assembly tasks, and they perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors. • Assemble mechanical components using work instructions, MTS, and OFS. • Perform crating and packing with PIV equipment. • Execute basic rework to correct identified defects. • Drive continuous improvement via Tier 1, 5S, and cross‑training initiatives. • Participate in Level I OJT and cross‑train on Level II assembly tasks. • Train teammates on product configurations and cell setups. • Utilize basic math, reading, writing, and computer applications for compliance. • Work collaboratively, follow directions, and act promptly.

What You Bring
Critical skills include basic reading, writing, math, and computer proficiency to ensure product compliance, as well as strong communication to drive defect prevention. The role requires the ability to train others, collaborate effectively, follow directions promptly, and maintain a willingness to learn multiple production areas. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED; 0-1 year of production assembly experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have at least one year in a manufacturing environment. • Communicate effectively to prevent defects and share knowledge. • Hold a high school diploma or GED; 0‑1 year assembly experience (1+ yr preferred).
