About the Role
The Senior Construction Project Manager role, within the Building Solutions North America business, leads large and sophisticated controls construction projects valued at $1M or more in the North Carolina market. The manager is accountable for profitable project execution, working closely with owners, sales managers, and installation teams to guide strategy, vendor selection, scope improvements, and risk assessment. Key duties include acting as the primary on‑site leader, developing project schedules, evaluating contract scopes, managing change orders, performing cost estimates, and negotiating settlements. What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, architecture, or a related field (or an associate’s with equivalent experience) and have at least eight years of direct project management experience in building construction. A PMI/PMP certification is expected within two years, along with strong communication skills, proficiency in project management and financial software, and the ability to travel as project assignments require. • Minimum 8 years of project management experience in building construction • Bachelor’s (or associate’s) degree in construction, engineering, or architecture • PMI/PMP certification expected within 2 years of hire • Proficient in MS Project, Office suite, Adobe, Visio, and financial accounting systems
