About the Role
The Environmental Engineer in Training (EIT) will support senior engineers on remediation projects, perform routine engineering tasks, manage project documentation, and conduct field work as needed. This position offers the chance to contribute to meaningful change in the waste industry while developing professional expertise. • Assist senior engineers on environmental remediation design and implementation • Perform routine engineering tasks using standard techniques • Handle administrative duties for remediation project management • Work independently on small projects or support larger projects • Contribute to feasibility studies, pre‑design investigations, remedial design, action, and post‑construction activities • Interpret data and present results in tables, charts, or maps • Conduct field work and travel as required

What You Bring
• 40‑hour HAZWOPER training (strongly preferred) • Master’s degree in environmental engineering or related field • Obtain an EIT certification (or start as “Environmental Designer” and acquire it) • 10‑hour OSHA training (preferred) • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS • Prior engineering internship experience (preferred) • Strong commitment to safety and ability to perform physically demanding sampling in rugged or extreme conditions • Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or related field (required) • Strong written and verbal communication skills
