About the Role
The role leads all facets of project execution, including commercial management, HSEQS compliance, resource planning and stakeholder relationships. It requires a strategic, hands‑on leader who can drive operational excellence, mitigate risk and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. Responsibilities span the entire project lifecycle—from pre‑construction planning, procurement strategy and health‑safety preparation, through design and construction management, to post‑construction after‑care and defect resolution—while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and sustainability. • Prepare project programmes, method statements, preliminaries and submission documentation • Chair project start‑up and internal coordination meetings • Develop procurement strategy and pre‑qualify key supply‑chain partners • Establish and manage Commercial Risk Registers with mitigation plans • Prepare Health, Safety & Environmental plans and Temporary Works Registers • Plan and agree site logistics and layout per company policies • Communicate site start dates to statutory authorities and stakeholders • Develop employee resource plans aligned with Regional Director expectations • Implement design strategies including BIM, DRM and scope of novated services • Oversee consultant and subcontractor design delivery, ensuring BIM implementation • Manage subcontractor engagement, progress meetings and pre‑order reviews • Supervise employee resourcing to cover leave or training periods • Manage information flows and scheduling to support project delivery • Chair internal and subcontractor meetings; distribute accurate minutes • Maintain detailed understanding and management of project critical paths • Prepare contract reports and manage preliminaries, including extension of time applications • Uphold HSEQS standards throughout project execution • Review constructability and identify commercially advantageous execution methods • Monitor site progress against programme, coordinating with subcontractors and site managers • Control and report on project budgets and progress to stakeholders • Implement quality management cycles through package owners • Lead onsite delivery of HSEQS plans and quality programmes • Present project status at Monthly CVR/CRM meetings with Sisk management • Oversee compliance roles such as Certified Builder under statutory regulations • Drive timely achievement of Practical Completion Certificates • Ensure client after‑care and post‑handover commissioning adjustments • Support SQS with loss and expense claims and provide data for Final Accounts • Complete project data sheets and secure client references • Maintain strong client and design team relationships to safeguard contractual position • Manage defects identification and resolution to achieve Certificate of Making Good Defects • Lead the PDP process for project team members, promoting continuous development • Motivate and manage project teams for effective collaborative working

What You Bring
Candidates must have extensive civil construction experience with end‑to‑end project management across multiple projects, deep technical knowledge of civil, structural, architectural and M&E aspects, and proficiency in BIM and digital delivery tools. Proven commercial awareness, negotiation and conflict‑resolution skills are essential. Required qualifications include IOSH or equivalent health & safety certification, CDM/PSCS awareness, and certifications for temporary works, excavation safety, working at heights, scaffolding, lifting and cranage. A chartered construction degree or professional qualification is desirable. • End‑to‑end project management across multiple civil projects (essential) • Technical knowledge of civil, structural, architectural and M&E aspects (essential) • Proficiency in BIM concepts and digital project delivery tools (essential) • Commercial awareness, negotiation skills and conflict resolution experience (essential) • Ability to deliver and assist in tender negotiations (desirable) • Programming, prioritisation and delegation skills (desirable) • Knowledge of BREEAM, LEED or CEEQUAL sustainability standards (desirable) • IOSH or equivalent health & safety management certification (essential) • CDM/PSCS awareness, Behavioural Based Safety training, Root Cause Analysis (essential) • Temporary Works & Excavation Safety certification (essential) • Working at Heights, Scaffolding, Lifting & Cranage operations training (essential) • Academic or professional qualification in construction‑related subject; chartered status (desirable)
