About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician I supports engineers across research, development, testing, and maintenance of engineering systems and equipment. Responsibilities include conducting tests, experiments, and calibration procedures, as well as collecting, recording, and analyzing data to provide insights to project teams. The role also involves operating and maintaining technical equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining accurate documentation of testing and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety protocols. • Support engineers in research, development, testing, and equipment maintenance. • Conduct equipment tests, experiments, and calibrations with accurate results. • Collect, record, and analyze test data to provide actionable insights. • Operate and maintain technical instruments, ensuring optimal condition. • Identify and resolve technical issues to maintain project continuity. • Maintain detailed logs and documentation of procedures and equipment upkeep. • Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and safety protocols. • Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and team members. • Locate parts, diagrams, and drawings independently within the AAON database. • Prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure setting.

What You Bring
Candidates are not required to hold a degree, though a refrigerant handling license, Lean Six Sigma training, or supervisory/leadership training are considered advantages. Minimum experience includes 1–2 years in an industrial or manufacturing setting with electrical, mechanical, or machinist background. Required skills encompass strong communication, interpersonal relationships, analytical problem‑solving, organization, time management, rapid technical comprehension, and the ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment are also expected. The work environment requires the ability to lift up to 50 lb and to sit or stand for the majority of the workday. Employees will be exposed to typical manufacturing conditions, including seasonal temperature variations, dust, and occasional chemical fumes.
