About the Role
The Service Technician assists in repairing and overhauling refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, ensuring timely, safe, and high‑quality service. Duties include repairing compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions, testing systems, maintaining records, processing job tickets, supporting case installation, handling minor construction projects, and driving the company vehicle safely. • Repair and overhaul compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices. • Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions. • Test malfunctioning systems using electrical and mechanical skills. • Maintain accurate work history records and process job tickets. • Support case pickup, delivery, installation, and minor construction projects. • Drive company vehicle safely and adhere to on‑call emergency requirements.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a high school diploma/GED, EPA certification, and have at least five years of commercial refrigeration experience. Experience with convenience‑store or supermarket equipment, single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in boxes is preferred. A clean driving record, ability to work independently, on‑call availability, and the physical capability to lift 60 lb and stand or sit for extended periods are required. • High school diploma/GED and EPA certification. • Minimum 5+ years commercial refrigeration experience (preferably in supermarkets or convenience stores). • Familiarity with single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in units. • Clean driving record and ability to work independently. • Physical ability to lift 60 lb and stand/sit for several hours. • Availability for emergency on‑call duties.
