About the Role
The Journeyman Electrician role supports Base’s expanding energy future in Houston, TX, working on‑site daily to pull wire, open panels, troubleshoot problems, and set standards through action. The electrician serves as the technical backbone of the battery fleet, performing hands‑on work while also guiding others. • Diagnose and repair complex electrical and battery system failures on site. • Perform rework to meet inspections and internal quality standards. • Represent Base during inspections, walking installers and resolving issues with authorities. • Mentor and train new installation crews for high performance. • Maintain expertise in Base hardware, NEC codes, and electrical principles. • Participate in on‑call rotation for urgent night/weekend issues.

What You Bring
• Hold a valid Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license. • Bring 4+ years of experience with battery backups, EV chargers, or whole‑home generators. • Exhibit a “fix‑it‑right‑the‑first‑time” mindset and clear communication with crews, inspectors, and homeowners.
