About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services for customers. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with company safety standards before operating, adhere to all company, state, and federal regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Drivers perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, and report any safety issues on standard forms. They follow their designated route, read route sheets, and service each customer as assigned, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste at the designated facility. Customer interaction is professional and courteous, with drivers identifying and tagging unsatisfactory waste containers, monitoring waste for unacceptable material, and cleaning accidental spills according to safety policies. They also clean waste from the packer blade and truck body on each disposal trip, complete required route productivity sheets, VCRs, and other reports, and maintain productivity standards to service customers efficiently.

Pride in work and a commitment to achieving goals are essential. The minimum requirement is a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brakes endorsement.
