HVAC Service Technician

About the Role

The current opening is for an HVAC Service Technician who will handle service work and site maintenance for national accounts. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems at customer locations, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting installations. • Service products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction • Diagnose and repair units using hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specs • Identify, analyze, and fix systems and products at customer sites • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested • Prepare for installations and repairs by reviewing building layouts, anticipating challenges, gathering materials, and coordinating work • Inspect and maintain vehicles, keeping records of service and cleanliness • Inspect equipment for wear and notify customers or Operations Manager of findings • Complete job paperwork, including daily time, progress, and duration, and maintain files • Order parts for repairs and manage timeliness of deliveries • Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and cost data per assignment and return unused resources • Submit all required paperwork and reports promptly • Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair information • Read and interpret product specifications • Provide technical support to customers • Travel regularly with some overnight trips as required
