About the Role

As a Commercial Tender Executive, you will act as the overall tender leader for high‑risk, large‑scale opportunities, focusing on the expanding renewable segment, offshore wind projects, and complex AC Business opportunities. You will translate the sales strategy into a structured tender plan, organize and lead the tender team, coordinate internal and external partners, and ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery. Responsibilities also include risk reviews, internal approvals, progress reporting, participation in customer workshops and capture teams, and supporting contract negotiations while maintaining compliance with regulations and Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity values. • Lead high‑risk, large tenders for renewable and offshore wind projects, aligning sales strategy with tender plans. • Organize and manage tender teams to ensure on‑time, high‑quality delivery and coordination with internal/external partners. • Conduct risk reviews, obtain internal approvals, and report progress to senior management. • Participate in customer workshops, tender presentations, and capture teams; support contract negotiations when needed. • Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations, legal and commercial contract terms, and Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity values.

What You Bring

The role requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or business management, at least ten years of relevant industry experience, and solid knowledge of substation automation, communication networks, and grid automation. Candidates must have a strong grasp of tendering and commercial processes, legal and commercial contract aspects, Incoterms, risk management, cash‑flow and cost management, and excellent English proficiency; additional European language skills are a plus. Strong leadership, the ability to manage complex and ambiguous tasks, and experience leading virtual teams without direct reports are essential.
