About the Role
Based in the Manchester office, the apprentice will join the call‑centre customer service team, providing general administrative support while gaining new skills and knowledge. The role combines observation, participation and training across a variety of tasks, ensuring the successful completion of the apprenticeship programme. Key responsibilities include supporting reception duties, managing visitor passes and security, handling incoming and outgoing post, maintaining stationery supplies, and performing ad‑hoc administration such as printing, binding and laminating documents. The apprentice will also assist with office compliance testing, keep documentation up‑to‑date, and liaise with stakeholders, clients and contractors through email and phone. • Provide reception services, greet visitors and issue security passes. • Manage post room activities, handling incoming and outgoing mail and parcels. • Maintain and distribute stationery stock levels. • Perform ad‑hoc administrative tasks such as printing, binding and laminating documents. • Arrange annual office compliance testing and keep documentation current. • Liaise with stakeholders, clients and contractors via email and phone, handling queries, complaints and compliments. • Attend meetings and accurately record notes.

Applicants must hold a GCSE grade 4 or higher in both Maths and English. The apprenticeship offers a fixed‑term contract with a weekly 40‑hour schedule, Monday to Friday, and an annual salary up to £28,186.33.
