About the Role

You will join Southern Water’s Wastewater Team to maintain and repair wastewater treatment works, sludge centres, and pumping stations. The role requires adherence to environmental, quality and safety standards while supporting continuous improvement across the assets. All employees contribute to 24/7 incident support to ensure rapid resolution of service disruptions, reflecting the core purpose of delivering ‘Water for Life’ to customers. • Undertake reactive and planned maintenance of plant and equipment. • Install new plant and equipment as required. • Respond to alarms and fault‑find issues, fixing or escalating as needed. • Carry out inspection and testing on mechanical equipment following company procedures. • Provide technical expertise to internal and external contractors. • Update company systems and databases accurately and promptly. • Participate in standby cover.

What You Bring
