About the Role

In this role you will support routine construction and field execution, participate in project management tasks such as monitoring crew, handling procurement, preparing reports, and assisting with close‑out activities. You will engage with safety and quality plans, collaborate with trades and subcontractors, and apply Lean and self‑perform practices. • Participate actively in safety and quality plans, mentoring others for an injury‑free environment. • Contribute to project QA/QC planning to ensure task quality. • Assist with estimating and change management, including quantity take‑off and subcontractor proposal reviews. • Monitor crew size, self‑perform hours, materials, quantities, and equipment on site. • Handle punch lists, city inspections, safety and quality reviews, and related documentation. • Post the latest drawings and specifications. • Organize and attend project meetings, preparing and distributing required documents. • Prepare daily, weekly, and progress reports, including manpower, production schedules, and equipment tracking. • Conduct periodic site observations with project leadership. • Create procurement logs, track shop drawings, and follow up on deliveries per project schedule. • Provide progress updates to support scheduling. • Support project close‑out tasks such as punch lists, O&M manuals, and as‑built drawings. • Apply company best‑practice standards and construction fundamentals. • Build relationships with foremen, journeymen, superintendents, and subcontractors. • Develop understanding of company functions and how they contribute to project success. • Incorporate Lean practices into daily activities. • Identify, develop, and integrate self‑perform opportunities. • Implement project safety plans through training, toolbox talks, and communication with safety representatives. • Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, work plans, and daily logs. • Pre‑plan crew activities, complete look‑ahead schedules, and update the superintendent. • Manage job set‑up and project administration using CMiC and other technologies. • Coordinate subcontractor scope of work with the project team. • Collaborate with internal support functions as directed by the project team. • Control costs by evaluating and improving assigned task processes. • Help develop and maintain the project crew schedule. • Analyze material, cost, and equipment data for MOC on site. • Train and mentor less experienced project team members.

What You Bring

The position requires accurate, timely work, strong verbal and written communication, and proficiency in MS Office. Understanding of construction technology, Lean processes, self‑perform productivity, and the means and methods of construction management is essential, as is the ability to build relationships and collaborate across teams. A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) and at least two years of construction experience are required. The role may involve lifting up to 50 lb, travel, non‑traditional hours, and exposure to extreme conditions.
