About the Role
Under direct supervision, this role provides clerical and administrative assistance to the operations department, supporting day‑to‑day activities and ensuring smooth workflow. The employee reviews container supply and demand data, updates inventory and route information, and maintains logs of on‑site container activity. They assist dispatchers by handling customer and driver inquiries, report safety or service issues promptly, and process operational records such as vehicle maintenance, accounting, and route sheets. Monthly productivity reports are generated and all safety policies are followed to help the team meet its safety goals. • Review container supply/demand reports and update inventory management. • Enter daily route information into the computer system. • Collect on‑site container data and maintain the inventory log. • Respond to customer and driver complaints/inquiries for dispatchers. • Report safety or service issues to supervisor immediately. • Process operations data such as vehicle maintenance, accounting, and route sheets. • Distribute, collect, and review route sheets for billing and productivity. • Generate monthly productivity reports. • Follow safety policies and contribute to team safety goals. • Support other departments (customer service, accounting) and assist with driver de‑briefs.
