About the Role
• Monitor on‑site construction activities and ensure compliance with work plans, ASRs and notifications. • Apply multidisciplinary construction knowledge and appropriate installation methods. • Verify work against the latest plans, specifications, submittals and RFIs. • Coordinate with Design/Builder and stakeholders to plan construction, identify milestones and priorities. • Track budget estimates, staffing needs and schedule; allocate manpower, materials and equipment efficiently. • Identify potential issues early and take preventative actions to meet critical milestones. • Enforce safe construction practices and quality control while minimizing cost. • Prepare periodic progress reports for management and client. • Implement project policies, including labor agreement requirements. • Lead coordination meetings with Design/Builder, trade partners, LAWA Operations and other stakeholders.

What You Bring
The Tsui Group is seeking a qualified and experienced candidate to join its aviation team as a Construction Manager V in Los Angeles County. This role manages scope, cost, schedule, and operational interfaces for all design and construction activities within the program. Candidates must have at least 20 years of construction management experience, preferably on airport or large, multi‑year projects, with experience overseeing teams and projects exceeding $100 million. Required knowledge includes various delivery methods (Design‑Bid‑Build, Design‑CMAR, Design/Build), strong written and oral communication, and industry regulations. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred, and certifications such as AAAE, LEED, PE, PMP, or AICP are optional. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam is essential, with CAD or Revit experience preferred.

Benefits
The compensation package includes a salary range of $203,000‑$208,000, 100% employee‑paid medical, vision, and dental coverage, life and disability insurance, 10.5 days of accrued vacation, 6 days of sick leave, 10 days of holiday pay (including one personal day), a 3% employer 401(k) contribution after one year, a monthly cell‑phone stipend, and a work laptop.
