About the Role
The role involves applying protective coatings to surfaces, demonstrating knowledge and skill in painting, varnishing, and finishing. Key duties include preparing surfaces, selecting appropriate paint types for various materials, mixing colors, and adhering to safety and project guidelines. • Apply paint, varnish, and finishes to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray machines. • Prepare surfaces by cleaning dirt, oil, and grease, removing old paint or coverings, and filling and smoothing cracks and holes. • Identify appropriate paint materials for substrates such as plaster, wood, brick, and metal. • Mix and match paints with a good eye for color. • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules; perform other duties as required.

What You Bring
Applicants must have at least a high school diploma, be at least 18 years old, possess good hand skills and color judgment, and be physically able to work with arms raised for long periods. • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old. • Demonstrate good hand skills and ability to judge colors. • Possess knowledge of application techniques and safe handling of paint, solvents, and adhesives. • Physically able to work long periods with arms raised overhead.
