About the Role

• Design site and civil infrastructure improvements, including sanitary sewer, water systems, storm drainage, grading, and erosion control. • Prepare calculations, hydraulic models, drawings, engineering reports, and submission packages. • Coordinate with project managers, architects, landscape architects, surveyors, and owners on public and private projects. • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering modeling software while adhering to company standards and templates. • Apply collaborative problem‑solving and foster peer learning within the team.

GFT is seeking a Site/Civil Design Engineer to support projects in the Mid-Atlantic Region, working in a hybrid model with regular attendance at the State College, PA office within the Site Development practice. The role offers an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment and values a customer‑focused approach to delivering high‑quality results. • Hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. • Possess 3–6 years of civil engineering experience. • Demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Exhibit strong communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities. • Be an Engineer-in‑Training (EIT); pursuing PE licensure is preferred. • Have experience with storm drains, sanitary sewers, water distribution, site grading, and stormwater management (preferred).
