About the Role

The position provides basic administrative support for essential branch functions such as production scheduling, shipping, inventory, inside sales, and bookkeeping. • Maintain and update master and dispatch schedules for all fabrication orders. • Coordinate shop production schedules with supervisors and detailers to minimize costs and meet customer needs. • Advise customers of scheduled delivery dates and adjust schedules for emergencies. • Arrange trucking with approved freight companies and establish daily truck schedules. • Serve as liaison among customers, shop, placer, and detailer to resolve shipping issues. • Process freight invoices, production tags, bills of lading, and related documentation. • Develop strong relationships with customers and vendors. • Prepare and record required paperwork.

What You Bring

Physical demands include walking, standing, bending, occasional lifting of equipment, and use of hands and vision for operating tools and computers; a background and drug test are required at hiring. • Two‑year degree from an accredited institution. • Prior experience in the construction industry. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • Strong written and verbal communication and math skills. • Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities. • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work under deadline pressure. • High accuracy and attention to detail.
