About the Role
Key responsibilities include administering project budgets, schedules, and quality; overseeing design consultants and construction support activities; managing the design review process and ensuring timely comment resolution; and providing weekly status reports using AECOM‑approved software such as Unifier, BIM, Primavera P6, and SharePoint. The manager also coordinates with airport tenants, airlines, DFW departments, and government agencies, proactively resolves issues and claims, prepares monthly progress reports, and reviews change orders, RFQs, and RFPs. Collaboration with the Construction Manager and leadership in negotiating design and construction services are essential to meet DFW goals. • Administer project scope, schedule, and budget compliance. • Oversee design consultants and construction support activities. • Manage the design review process and close out comments promptly. • Produce weekly project status reports using Unifier, BIM, Primavera P6, and SharePoint. • Coordinate activities with airport tenants, airlines, DFW departments, and regulatory agencies. • Proactively resolve issues and minimize client exposure to claims. • Prepare monthly progress reports for senior management and DFW‑DCC. • Review and approve change orders, claims, and scope revisions. • Assist in developing RFQs/RFPs and support the procurement process. • Lead negotiations for design and construction services and consultant fees. • Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager to achieve project objectives.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications are a BA/BS degree and six years of relevant experience, plus a valid Class C driver’s license and the ability to obtain a DFW AOA certification. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s in engineering, architecture, or construction management with eight years of experience, a civil PE license, prior aviation project management experience, and the ability to obtain a SIDA‑cleared badge. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. • Minimum: BA/BS degree, 6 years relevant experience, Class C driver’s license. • Preferred: Bachelor’s in Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management, 8 years experience, civil PE license, aviation project experience. • Ability to obtain SIDA‑cleared badge and DFW AOA certification. • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
