About the Role

The role involves operating, managing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, power, plumbing, fire control, roofing, and exterior grounds systems, while coordinating vendor support. It requires ensuring these systems run reliably to support the data center’s mission-critical operations. You will lead and mentor a team of semi‑skilled support professionals, fostering accountability and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include assigning tasks, monitoring progress, handling hiring, performance reviews, coaching, and training to support career development. You will oversee planning and execution of infrastructure projects and routine maintenance, aligning operational targets with weekly and long‑term goals. Budgeting and resource planning will be part of your duties, with a focus on optimizing site capacity and performance. Management of third‑party vendors and contractors is essential, ensuring work meets company standards and timelines. You will serve as the on‑site point of contact for external partners, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication. Supporting system startup testing and documenting any issues will help guarantee high‑quality implementation and reliability.
