About the Role
The manager leads the Great Lakes Area Inside Sales Team, driving revenue through WM services and guiding the team with sales and marketing programs. Responsibilities include overseeing team performance, recruiting, training, and ensuring customer satisfaction while collaborating with other sales leaders. • Reinforce corporate sales strategy and maintain high customer satisfaction. • Supervise daily sales activities, ensuring call‑activity, lead generation, and revenue targets are met. • Forecast staffing needs and recruit qualified Inside Sales representatives. • Develop and deliver formal training and informal coaching for the sales team. • Maintain accurate customer records, contracts, orders, and service documentation. • Partner with the Area Sales Manager to execute upsell and cross‑sell initiatives via outbound calls. • Directly manage 12 full‑time employees, including Account Executives and a Program Manager.

What You Bring
The Inside Sales Manager will lead the inside sales team for the Great Lakes Area (GLA) from Plymouth, MI. The role is hybrid, requiring both remote work and office presence, and candidates should reside locally. Prior management or supervisory experience is preferred. Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree (or a high school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience), at least three years of B2B sales management experience, three years of direct B2B sales experience, and proven success in a Level 4‑6 sales role. Candidates must possess a REAL ID or a TSA‑approved alternative for required travel by air or access to federal property. • Hold a bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience). • Possess at least three years of B2B sales management experience and three years of direct B2B sales experience. • Demonstrate proven success in a Level 4‑6 sales position.
