About the Role
As a Sales Engineer at Johnson Controls, you will focus on smaller, less technically complex solutions, building relationships with end‑user customers to understand their needs and propose suitable offerings within a standard pricing and margin framework. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring customer satisfaction and long‑term service relationships. You will continuously deepen your product, company, and industry knowledge while planning an annual order strategy aligned with departmental goals. Your day‑to‑day duties include preparing tenders and proposals, leading negotiations and bidding, closing orders, managing payment collection, and reporting commercial performance to management. You will also monitor competitors, generate sales leads, and independently develop BMS projects to deliver solutions. • Build relationships with customers to understand needs and propose solutions within standard pricing. • Study and continuously improve product, company, and industry knowledge. • Plan an annual secured order strategy aligned with department goals. • Achieve regional sales targets with year‑over‑year growth. • Prepare and issue tenders and proposals to customers. • Lead negotiations and bidding activities to optimize profit. • Close orders and ensure timely payment collection. • Provide monthly commercial and non‑financial reports to management. • Proactively develop long‑term customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction. • Identify sales leads and assess customer requirements. • Monitor competitors’ activities and report findings periodically. • Independently develop and follow up BMS projects to deliver solutions. • Promote BMS products and systems in design institutes, industry associations, and integrators (optional). • Compile catalogues and create localized master catalogues for contractors and consultants. • Conduct cold calls and pursue new business development. • Explore and execute end‑to‑end BMS projects, providing industry solutions for HK ELV.

What You Bring
The role requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical, HVAC, or Electrical/Electronic engineering, and 1‑3 years of direct‑selling experience in industrial machinery. Candidates should be self‑motivated, hardworking, possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and be proficient in spoken and written English. Frequent travel is also expected.
