About the Role

At WM, the Operations Specialist for Collections provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental managers and assists in coordinating all aspects of daily operations. This position ensures smooth workflow and supports the Collections department’s operational needs. The Operations Specialist troubleshoots and resolves safety, service, and operational issues, maintains and distributes daily departmental information, and communicates with supervisors and managers about operational concerns. They also maintain the office and serve as the KRONOS proxy for daily driver and helper updates. Using Microsoft Suite and additional software tools, the specialist manages procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, contract labor, and assists with payment processing and other financial tasks. They support implementation of operational projects, communicate with customers about service issues, and coordinate employee scheduling and work assignments.
