About the Role
The HS&E Advisor role, based in Chichester, supports the Framework HS&E Manager with health, safety and environmental matters across the region. The role embeds the HS&E strategy, drives behavioural change, and ensures legal and internal compliance on projects. • Promote a strong, inclusive HS&E culture across all operational activities. • Support implementation of HS&E strategy and systems across the framework. • Provide technical HS&E advice and support to site and project teams. • Ensure effective implementation of the HS&E Management System. • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including clients, supply chain and regulators. • Monitor performance using HS&E KPIs and support continuous improvement. • Support incident investigations and ensure effective close‑out of actions. • Report HS&E performance and issues to the Framework HS&E Manager. • Undertake site inspections, audits and compliance checks.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar HS&E role within construction, infrastructure or utilities, hold or be working towards a NEBOSH Construction/General Certificate, and possess a good understanding of HSE legislation. Strong communication, influencing skills, a proactive solutions‑focused approach and competence in Microsoft Office are required, along with a full UK driving licence. • NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate (or working towards). • Experience within a regulated or infrastructure environment (water industry desirable). • Good understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation. • Strong communication skills and ability to influence operations positively. • Proactive, solutions‑focused approach. • Competency in Microsoft Office systems. • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally. • Member of IOSH or IIRSM (desirable). • Working towards TechIOSH / CMIOSH (desirable). • NVQ Level 3 or above in a relevant discipline (desirable).
