About the Role

The Sr. Industrial Wastewater Project Manager position focuses on overseeing the planning, design, and construction administration of industrial water and wastewater facilities, requiring strong communication and leadership abilities. • Lead and direct industrial water and wastewater projects as project manager or director • Market projects and develop proposals, including interviews and business development • Perform complex process engineering, create design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans/specifications • Manage project tasks, collect and present data in reports, memos, and public forums • Oversee design/build projects (desired experience)

What You Bring

• Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license (strongly preferred) • Experience planning and designing municipal or industrial water and wastewater systems • Technical expertise in process design of industrial organic water/wastewater treatment facilities • Demonstrated business development and strategic planning abilities within industrial facilities • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively on multiple assignments • Strong oral and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills • Master’s degree and PMP certification (preferred) • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 10 years of experience • Minimum 5 years of project management experience using Microsoft Office, estimating, scheduling, and project management software • Ability to interact with various design teams and commit to HDR’s employee‑owned culture
