About the Role
A Laborer works safely and efficiently at a hauling company, transfer station, recycling center, or landfill, handling a variety of site duties to keep operations running smoothly. The position emphasizes both physical tasks and basic equipment operation, contributing to the overall productivity of the site. • Refuel vehicles and equipment • Perform yard tasks such as mowing and paper pickup • Operate site vehicles (water trucks, pickup trucks, sweepers, mowers, trimming equipment) • Conduct general office maintenance and repairs, including painting and janitorial work • Install temporary wind fences as needed • Direct site traffic when required
