About the Role
In this role you will build data and telemetry foundations that enable product decisions, improve reliability, and accelerate innovation. You will partner with engineering, data, and product teams to turn ambiguous problems into practical, measurable systems. • Define a scalable approach for standardizing analytics event reporting, including schema, fields, taxonomy, and versioning. • Drive design reviews, maintain decision logs, create technical roadmaps, and align stakeholders on trade‑offs. • Establish governance for analytics quality with validation strategies, fail‑fast patterns, and measurable SLAs. • Define observability requirements for pipelines and integrate health signals with dashboards and BI tools. • Partner with global engineering teams to clarify ownership boundaries and ensure predictable delivery. • Mentor engineers, raise the technical bar through coaching, design feedback, and reference implementations. • Unite teams around shared outcomes and build trusted cross‑team partnerships. • Communicate clearly, surface risks early, and drive alignment through transparency. • Maintain an optimistic, data‑driven, learning mindset and champion quality and operational excellence.

What You Bring
• Own end‑to‑end architecture for FIC analytics and System State Reporting, covering ingestion, validation, enrichment, storage, and consumption. • 8+ years software engineering experience, including 3+ years in system architecture or technical leadership. • Proven ability to design end‑to‑end distributed systems or data pipelines and write production code in C++, Java, Python, or TypeScript. • Experience defining and evolving schemas/contracts with backward compatibility and migration plans. • Strong communication skills to align multiple teams, document decisions, and influence without authority. • Familiarity with telemetry/analytics pipelines, data quality by design, and ETL/ELT tooling (batch, CDC, connectors, transformations). • Experience building developer productivity enforcement systems such as PR gating, automated checks, or CI validation. • Knowledge of Snowflake, Looker, PowerBI, and building data products for internal stakeholders.
