About the Role

The Assembler/Bander is responsible for setting up, operating, and adjusting a variety of machines and equipment—including nutting, banding, strapping, wrapping, and other departmental tools—to produce and prepare high‑quality products for shipment. Typical daily tasks include assembling, painting, palletizing, filing, bundling, banding, nutting, sorting, twisting, and deburring. The operator may also perform visual inspections, separate parts, identify, tag, count, and record production and scrap data, while maintaining required production records. Additionally, the role requires the ability to execute Statistical Process Control (SPC) and keep the machines, equipment, and work area clean and orderly. • Set up, operate, and adjust nutting, banding, strapping, wrapping, and other equipment. • Perform assembly, painting, palletizing, filing, bundling, sorting, twisting, and deburring tasks. • Conduct visual inspections, tag, count, and record production and scrap data. • Execute Statistical Process Control (SPC) as required. • Maintain machines, equipment, and work area in a clean, orderly condition. • Operate a stapling machine with one hand.
