About the Role

The Apprentice Administrator ensures the smooth operation of the office by handling a variety of administrative duties and providing a professional front‑desk presence. This proactive role supports staff and visitors, maintains an orderly environment and assists with tasks such as mail handling, document processing and meeting coordination. • Provide reception support, answer phones, take messages, and assist staff and visitors. • Sign in visitors and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and couriers efficiently. • Assist with administrative tasks such as typing, photocopying, scanning, and printing documents. • Arrange travel and accommodations for staff and management as needed. • Schedule and book meetings and trainings. • Arrange tea/coffee and lunches for meetings/events. • Maintain and update company databases, including active project lists and building records. • Provide coverage for staff during holidays to ensure uninterrupted office operations. • Ensure the office environment is clean and organized. • Monitor photocopier paper levels, toner, and error messages. • Keep welfare and office refreshment supplies stocked for staff. • Conduct weekly Legionella checks and fire alarm tests. • Regularly check and maintain the First Aid Box and emergency lights.
