About the Role
This hands‑on role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to lead teams while remaining close to practical, technical work. The supervisor will be the key on‑site presence, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards, while gaining exposure to operational, commercial and client‑facing experience. • Lead and coordinate mechanical installation, servicing, and commissioning on UK sites. • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, CDM regulations and company procedures. • Conduct risk assessments, produce method statements, and maintain safety equipment. • Produce project updates, photographic documentation, and manage tooling, vehicles and material reconciliations. • Identify and escalate delays, risks or issues; support planning and monitoring of work activities. • Promote efficient site operations, minimise material waste and suggest process improvements. • Represent Ham Baker professionally, maintaining strong client relationships. • Lead by example, supporting the on‑site team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will have proven experience in installation or site supervision within the water industry, strong mechanical fitting ability, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. A solid understanding of health and safety, including CDM regulations, excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude and a full UK driving licence are essential. • Hold proven experience in installation or site supervision within the water industry. • Demonstrate strong mechanical fitting skills and ability to read technical drawings. • Possess solid health & safety knowledge, including CDM, and hold a full UK driving licence. • Be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; flexible and willing to travel up to 4 nights per week. • Desirable qualifications: NVQ Level 4 Construction Supervisor, IOSH, CSCS/CPCS, PASMA, IPAF, Confined Space, SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid.
