About the Role
The engineer will perform civil design for overwater structures and upland components, focusing on grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utilities for container terminals and bulk‑handling facilities. Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, supporting plan and cost estimate development, and working with cross‑functional teams to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements. • Perform civil design of overwater structures and upland components for ports and marine projects. • Develop grading, drainage, stormwater, and utility plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. • Prepare technical memoranda, reports, plans, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. • Conduct design calculations and stormwater analyses for conveyance networks and water‑quality features. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure scope, schedule, cost, and quality compliance. • Support site work planning, code compliance, and occasional field investigations.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, an Engineer‑in‑Training certification, and 3‑5 years of relevant post‑graduate design experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D (minimum two years) and knowledge of marine, port, and coastal construction codes are required, along with strong communication, analytical, and safety‑focused skills. • Hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering and EIT certification with 3–5 years of relevant design experience. • Demonstrate proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD (≥2 years) and familiarity with marine/port codes. • Possess strong communication, analytical, and safety‑focused work habits. • Preferred: PE license, professional organization involvement, marine upland design experience, and commercial dive license.
