About the Role

The role combines technical excellence with mentorship and business development, leading a multidisciplinary team of field staff, engineers, and scientists while serving as the primary technical authority for the region. • Serve as final technical reviewer and Engineer of Record for geotechnical reports and design packages. • Lead complex designs for slope stability, foundations, retaining structures, and settlement evaluations. • Direct field exploration activities, including drilling, test pits, and site inspections. • Mentor junior and mid‑level engineers, technicians, designers, and project managers. • Drive business development by attending client meetings and identifying growth opportunities. • Utilize specialized software such as gINT, LPile, APile, MSEW, FB‑Pier, and GRLWEAP for innovative solutions. • Manage three or more large‑scale transportation projects concurrently.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least 12 years of experience in geotechnical and transportation engineering, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, and a Professional Engineer license. Expertise in DOT Geotechnical Design Manual, AASHTO LRFD specifications, and proficiency with MicroStation or OpenRoads is required, along with a valid driver’s license. • Hold a Professional Engineer license (or Professional Geologist where applicable) and maintain a valid driver’s license.
