About the Role

What You'll Be Doing About the role: You’ll act as the first point of contact for maintenance across your own portfolio of sites, taking ownership of both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and responsive repair work. This is a field‑based role requiring autonomy and initiative. • Perform emergency lighting and lamp changes • Test electrical and fire alarm systems • Conduct mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs • Carry out minor plumbing and fabric maintenance • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations • Deliver excellent client service

Arcus FM are currently recruiting for an M&E Engineer to join our mobile team, who will be required to travel across a dedicated region, delivering high‑quality planned and reactive maintenance services across a portfolio of multi‑site clients. • Smartphone, tools, uniform and PPE provided • 18th Edition or HVAC experience • Hands‑on M&E or multi‑skilled engineering experience • Strong communication and organisational skills • Experience delivering planned preventive maintenance • F‑Gas qualification • IOSH Working Safely certification • Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance experience • 2391 testing & inspection knowledge

What We're Looking For The role will involve working 40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including bank holidays) on a rotating shift pattern of 5 days on, 2 days off, with an on‑call rota of one week in every four.
