About the Role
As Director of Occupancy Planning & Management, you will lead strategic occupancy excellence, delivering JLL best practices through occupancy planning products, solutions, and tools. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients and account teams, fostering critical relationships across JLL businesses and driving workplace optimization that impacts client satisfaction and organizational success. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include partnering with clients on sustainable occupancy planning and relocation projects, managing multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring alignment with client goals. You will collaborate with account, facilities, and project management teams, meet performance metrics, produce accurate planning reports, and implement process improvements while leveraging technology and data insights. • Lead strategic occupancy planning and relocation projects, delivering JLL best practices to clients. • Serve as trusted advisor, building relationships across account teams, facilities, and stakeholders. • Manage and mentor multidisciplinary occupancy planning teams, ensuring alignment with client goals. • Drive performance metrics, create planning reports, and support corporate real estate decision‑making. • Implement process improvements and leverage technology solutions to enhance service delivery. • Collaborate with Space Data Insights to maintain accurate occupancy data and portfolio analytics. • Optimize space efficiency, oversee migration plans, and forecast inventory changes. • Apply analytical expertise in Excel, data consolidation, and PowerPoint to support strategic insights.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7‑15 years of corporate experience in space/occupancy planning and data management. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional communication, active listening, presentation skills, strong analytical abilities in Excel and PowerPoint, a bias toward transformation, and the ability to lead diverse teams with resilience and ethical standards. Preferred qualifications feature an MBA, experience leading large‑scale teams with P&L responsibility, deep knowledge of occupancy planning best practices, and a track record of digital transformation initiatives. Professional certifications such as FMP, CFM, PMP, CCIM, or SIOR are also valued, along with participation in industry organizations. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7‑15 years of corporate occupancy planning experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, active listening, presentation, and relationship‑building skills. • Exhibit a transformational mindset, structured problem‑solving, and commercial/financial acumen. • Preferred: MBA, experience leading large teams, P&L responsibility, and digital transformation initiatives. • Preferred certifications: FMP, CFM, PMP, CCIM, or SIOR.

Benefits
The role is hybrid, based in New York City (3‑4 days in office) with the option to work from Westport, CT, offering an estimated salary of $174,000‑$198,000. Benefits include a 401(k) match, comprehensive medical/dental/vision plans, paid parental leave at 100% salary, PTO, company holidays, and early access to earned wages through Daily Pay.
