About the Role

• Lead commercial management for major expansion construction projects across AMER, overseeing cost control and contract risk. • Procure and manage third‑party consultants (design, commercial, pre‑construction) and develop RFPs and service deliverables. • Create and execute GC and supplier procurement strategies with the Construction Management team. • Negotiate General Contractor contracts in partnership with Legal and Procurement COE. • Compile market insights, cost indices, and benchmarking data for construction industry analysis. • Prepare budgets, feasibility estimates, detailed cost models and present them to senior leadership. • Identify regional commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies, including value‑engineering initiatives. • Produce and monitor cash‑flow forecasts, monthly budget, risk and change‑management reports. • Oversee post‑contract activities, ensuring consultant deliverables, budget adherence, and commercial change management. • Lead commercial risk management, audits, contingency analysis, and financial close‑out of projects. • Generate lessons‑learned cost analyses and detailed Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) reporting.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, business, finance or related field, or equivalent experience. • Senior‑level commercial management experience, preferably in mission‑critical data‑center facilities. • Knowledge of mission‑critical MEP systems and campus‑scale projects; RICS accreditation is a plus. • Strong attention to detail, proofreading, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. • Excellent business acumen, written and verbal communication, and sense of accountability and urgency. • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and cost‑management tools.

Benefits

Targeted base‑pay ranges are $136,000‑$204,000 for the Atlanta office and $150,000‑$224,000 for the Chicago office, reflecting role level, location and market factors. Compensation may also include bonuses, equity and other incentives, with final salary determined by experience, skills and education.
