About the Role

The Service Operations Manager is accountable for running the service function across the designated area, overseeing maintenance, safety, and customer relations. Key duties include designing and maintaining maintenance systems and records, developing methods to reduce callbacks and annualized hours per unit, and improving inventory control of stores. The manager also plans manpower, generates monthly service activity reports, and conducts regular meetings with area managers and customer service engineers. In the realm of Environment, Health & Safety and Quality, the role requires strict adherence to company safety and quality policies, conducting fatality prevention audits, resolving safety issues on site, participating in safety committee meetings, and leading accident investigations. Team management responsibilities involve leading the service and service sales teams, handling personnel matters, and recognizing and appreciating employee performance. The manager must maintain strong customer relationships by holding regular meetings, addressing client concerns, promoting safety standards, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction. • Design and implement maintenance systems and record‑keeping processes. • Create and monitor methods to lower callback rates and reduce annualized hours per unit. • Optimize inventory control for service stores. • Plan and manage manpower requirements for the service area. • Produce monthly management reports on service activities. • Conduct regular meetings with area managers and customer service engineers. • Enforce safety and quality policies, perform fatality prevention audits, and resolve site safety issues. • Participate in safety committee meetings and lead accident investigations. • Lead and develop the service and service sales teams, handling employee matters and recognition. • Build and sustain strong customer relationships through regular meetings and issue resolution. • Ensure customers are informed about safety standards and maintain high satisfaction levels.
