About the Role

The Building Automation Service Sales Executive supports our Service Agreements business by driving service sales and revenue growth through Direct Digital Controls (DDC) systems and related services. The role requires building and maintaining client relationships, identifying opportunities for DDC installations and upgrades, and working closely with technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. This position focuses on both existing clients and new business prospects. • Develop and implement strategic sales plans targeting DDC system clients. • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients while acquiring new business. • Assess client needs and propose tailored DDC solutions, including HVAC replacements. • Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and project timelines. • Collaborate with technical teams for system design, installation, and commissioning. • Transition customers from installation to ongoing service. • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments. • Deliver sales presentations and demonstrations highlighting DDC benefits. • Negotiate contract terms to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. • Maintain accurate sales activity records in CRM software. • Achieve monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.

What You Bring

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience. • Minimum three years of service sales experience in building automation. • Possess industry certifications related to DDC systems (preferred). • Understand energy efficiency, sustainability concepts, and building codes. • Demonstrate financial expertise in estimating and selling technical solutions. • Proven sales track record in building automation or DDC industry. • Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical clients. • Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple client relationships. • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
