About the Role

The role is responsible for day‑to‑day ownership of IT services at one or more sites, ensuring site health and a positive customer experience. This includes rapid restoration of service interruptions and the deployment, configuration, and support of hardware such as PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, switches, access points, virtual machines, UPS, and specialized manufacturing equipment. You will assist with site‑based IT systems, troubleshoot larger issues, and provide on‑site, hands‑on support in partnership with local teams. Collaboration with other IT groups is required to deliver technology solutions directly at the site. All work follows IT Service Management (ITSM) processes—including asset, change, incident, request, problem, and project management—to meet service level agreements. You will maintain and annually refresh the IT disaster recovery plan, participate in application, infrastructure, security, and operational excellence initiatives, and lead root‑cause analysis and problem‑management activities. The position supports Lean Daily Management practices such as 5S, Gemba walks, and risk assessments, and contributes to inventory, risk assessment, and profit‑planning processes. You will influence budgeting and forecasting for IT infrastructure, analyze complex data sets to drive improvements, and take part in internal audits while championing company policies on ethics, data protection, and compliance. As a people leader, you will guide IT peers, influence customers to adopt IT standards, and share best practices to boost user satisfaction and productivity. The role requires the ability to lead a technical team with minimal supervision and to communicate solutions effectively across all organization levels. • Own site IT services, ensure health and fast restoration of interruptions. • Deploy, configure, and support hardware including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, networking, VMs, UPS, and manufacturing equipment. • Provide on‑site troubleshooting and partner with local teams and other IT groups. • Follow ITSM processes: asset, change, incident, request, problem, and project management. • Maintain and annually refresh the IT disaster recovery plan. • Participate in application, infrastructure, security, and operational excellence initiatives. • Conduct root‑cause analysis and problem‑management activities. • Support Lean Daily Management (5S, Gemba), inventory, risk assessment, and profit‑planning. • Influence IT budgeting, forecasting, and spending decisions. • Analyze data to identify and drive metric improvements. • Lead internal audits of IT processes and ensure compliance with company policies. • Lead and mentor IT peers, promote standards, and share best practices.
