About the Role

• Provide in‑depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs. • Identify and resolve equipment and system problems through direct technical consultation. • Manage engineering issues, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes. • Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses to support regulatory and technical projects. • Recommend equipment, concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, or address design/material flaws. • Perform additional assignments such as emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and outage support outside the department.

What You Bring

Primary Purpose of Position Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in the functional discipline and its practical application, with detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations. • Entry‑level (E01) qualification: Bachelor’s in a technical field (non‑engineer) or Associate’s + 1 yr nuclear experience or High school/GED + 2 yr nuclear experience; must meet access and medical requirements. • Mid‑level (E02) qualification: Bachelor’s + 2 yr nuclear experience or Associate’s + 3 yr or High school/GED + 5 yr nuclear experience; working knowledge of engineering processes; must meet access and medical requirements. • Senior‑level (E03) qualification: Bachelor’s + 5 yr nuclear experience or Associate’s + 7 yr or High school/GED + 8 yr (5 yr at exempt level) nuclear experience; working knowledge of engineering processes; must meet access and medical requirements. • Highly desired experience with AutoCAD.
