Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor - Data Center Construction
Manage cost planning and control for a large data center construction project.

About the Role
• Manage cost planning, budgeting, and post‑contract cost control throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, and stakeholder reports. • Monitor actual costs versus forecasts, recommending corrective actions and tracking contingencies. • Review, validate, and document change orders in compliance with contractual terms. • Support procurement strategies, bid analysis, and contractor negotiations. • Identify cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering and design optimization. • Ensure compliance with internal financial systems, client requirements, and regulatory controls, including SOX where applicable. • Maintain benchmarking data and historical cost records for continuous improvement. • Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and clients to align scope, budget, and schedule. • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. • 3–5 years of cost management or project controls experience on large‑scale construction projects, preferably data‑centers. • Knowledge of MEP systems, sustainable infrastructure, and procurement/commercial contract management. • RICS accreditation (or progress toward it) and strong communication and client‑facing skills. • Proficiency with cost‑management software, Microsoft Office, and cloud‑based applications.
