About the Role
The Senior Project Lead role in Mumbai will manage comprehensive fit‑out projects for Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) clients, delivering on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities include leading end‑to‑end project development, establishing effective organisational structures for reporting and communication, supervising multidisciplinary teams, and monitoring project budgets while using JLL’s internal technology platforms such as Project Home Page, Prolog and Atlas. Upholding JLL’s 200‑year legacy, the Lead will build a network of professional consultants, administer vendor contracts in line with legal requirements, identify and mitigate risks, and produce regular project reports and analyses. • Lead end‑to‑end fit‑out projects for BFSI clients, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery. • Define project organisation, reporting lines, communication protocols and quality controls. • Supervise and motivate multidisciplinary project teams throughout all phases. • Prepare and present monthly progress reports and monitor project budgets. • Utilise JLL’s internal platforms (Project Home Page, Prolog, Atlas) for project tracking. • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and constraints. • Manage project revenue and payment cycles while identifying new business opportunities. • Develop rapport with prospects and collaborate with other JLL business lines. • Create a network of professional consultants to meet project scopes. • Administer vendor contracts in compliance with legal and commercial requirements. • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks. • Produce regular project‑related reports, analyses and performance reviews.

What You Bring
The role demands a client‑centric mindset, maintaining strong relationships, understanding client needs and constraints, managing revenue and payment cycles, and actively seeking new business opportunities and cross‑line collaborations. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, possess 10‑12+ years of commercial fit‑out and project‑management experience, are proficient in Microsoft Office and Prolog, and demonstrate strong communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills. • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related property discipline. • 12‑15 years progressive experience in commercial fit‑out project management. • Proven track record managing client accounts in the BFSI sector. • Knowledge of BFSI security protocols, regulatory compliance and technology infrastructure. • Experience with bank branch, corporate office or data‑center fit‑outs. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Prolog and project‑management software. • Strong understanding of construction processes, MEP systems, interior design and building codes. • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to present to senior executives. • Skilled negotiator with conflict‑resolution capabilities. • Demonstrated leadership of cross‑functional teams and multiple concurrent projects. • Exceptional stakeholder management and ability to build consensus.
