About the Role

In this position you will work with an energetic, high‑performing team to shape the future of public infrastructure, develop long‑term municipal partnerships and support GHD’s strategic objectives across water, transportation and urban development. • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients and act as their advocate internally. • Lead and mentor a Client Engagement Team to deliver tailored solutions and create multi‑year growth plans. • Identify and pursue new municipal opportunities across water, transportation and urban development sectors. • Represent GHD at municipal meetings, conferences and industry events to promote the brand. • Oversee CRM implementation, maintain data quality and use insights to improve client management. • Serve as subject‑matter expert on technology, policy or regulation and stay current through CPD. • Manage a portfolio of complex accounts, ensuring profitable growth and high‑quality service. • Develop and execute relationship‑management plans to align customer needs with internal specialists. • Consult with client stakeholders to clarify requirements and develop specifications. • Build a senior‑level network, obtain market intelligence and enhance GHD’s reputation. • Create internal marketing plans to strengthen cross‑department collaboration and external relationships.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, environmental science or a related discipline, and preferably a Professional Engineer license. At least ten years of client service or relationship management experience in municipal or public‑sector settings, along with strong communication, leadership and analytical skills, are required. • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering, Environmental Science or related field. • Professional Engineer license preferred. • Minimum 10 years of client service or relationship management experience, preferably in municipal/public sector. • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills. • Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders. • Proficiency with Salesforce (CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite. • Strategic, client‑centric thinker with strong understanding of municipal operations and procurement. • Proven track record in business development and market‑strategy execution.
