About the Role
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining all exterior areas at the client site, including lawns, fields, walkways, roads, and parking lots. This role ensures that the grounds remain safe, attractive, and functional for users. Daily duties involve mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, spraying chemicals, leaf removal, cleaning, planting, watering, and repairing structural elements such as fences, gates, walls, and drainage systems. The incumbent operates a variety of hand tools, power equipment, and tractor‑mounted attachments while adhering to C&W Services health‑ and safety regulations. • Mow and edge lawns using hand or power mowers. • Trim and prune shrubs, trees, and flower beds. • Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides with sprayers. • Rake, bag, and remove leaves and litter. • Water lawns and plantings via hoses or sprinkler systems. • Repair fences, gates, walls, and walkways. • Maintain drainage ditches and culverts. • Operate tractor‑mounted mowers, spreaders, and rollers. • Follow all site‑specific health and safety rules.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma (or equivalent), at least three years of groundskeeping experience, and a broad skill set covering landscaping, irrigation, and equipment operation. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb, operate motor vehicles, and work rotating shifts—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—is required.
