About the Role
The senior engineer will represent the firm with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members, leading the design of large projects, preparing reports and specifications, and providing high‑level technical leadership. Key duties include establishing design standards, coordinating interdisciplinary teams, supervising construction administration, evaluating staff performance, participating in the Technical Leadership Committee, and mentoring junior engineers. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects • Supervise preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions • Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and consultants • Monitor correspondence among staff, clients, contractors, and owners • Supervise construction administration (field reports, RFIs, bulletins, addenda) • Conduct periodic employee evaluations • Participate in the Technical Leadership Committee • Assist technical manager and chief engineer with training and staff mentoring • Maintain dynamic employee resource groups • Allow half‑day work‑from‑home on Fridays year‑round

The role requires extensive electrical design experience in healthcare, aviation/transportation, or critical facilities, along with at least three years of project management experience.
