Bridge Engineer

About the Role

As a Bridge Engineer within this group, you will contribute to shaping systems that move people and goods safely, efficiently and sustainably. Your work will help modernize aging infrastructure and pioneer next‑generation transportation solutions, leaving a legacy of smarter, more connected networks. • Apply structural analysis, design, and detailing to produce contract documents for highway, rail, retaining wall and sign bridges, especially in seismic regions. • Perform structural load ratings for simple and complex bridge structures. • Assign work and review design calculations, estimates, and specifications from junior engineers and EITs. • Serve as technical bridge lead.

What You Bring

• Hold a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering. • Possess at least 3 years of bridge design experience. • Proficient with software such as SAP2000, LARSA 4D, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB‑MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, Midas Civil, MDX, CSiBridge, ADINA, RM Bridge, spColumn, LUSAS, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. • Prior bridge design experience. • Professional Engineer (PE) or P.Eng license for the job location. • Familiar with Bluebeam Revu and bridge design tools (LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB‑MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, Midas Civil, MDX, SAP2000, CSiBridge, RM Bridge, spColumn, STLBridgeLRFD). • Knowledge of ADINA, LUSAS, Bentley OpenBridge Designer/Modeler, Autodesk Infraworks and Civil 3D. • Experience with Microsoft Office, MicroStation, AutoCAD, MathCAD, LARSA and prestressed concrete design. • Skilled in structural analysis programs and bridge design software. • Experience managing junior staff. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
