OnSite Environmental Technician I

About the Role

The role supports waste management operations by assisting in the collection, identification, and proper packaging of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste, handling administrative tasks, and participating in on‑site spill response. Employees will work at client sites, operating equipment such as forklifts, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining safe loading and unloading of waste transport vehicles. • Perform waste pickups throughout customer facilities. • Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation. • Package, label, and prepare waste for efficient, compliant transport. • Participate in spill response activities as needed. • Operate forklifts and pallet‑jacks for material handling. • Inspect drums for integrity and regulatory compliance. • Load and unload waste hauling vehicles safely. • Conduct waste stream sampling and profiling. • Use hand and shop tools with accuracy and thoroughness. • Prioritize tasks, stay focused, and manage multiple responsibilities.

What You Bring

Candidates must be able to complete a 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire; the hourly wage ranges from $20.30 to $27.87, varying by locality. • Possess a valid driver’s license where required.
