About the Role

The CNC Operator will run multiple CNC mills, verify the quality of finished parts, review technical drawings and revisions, and use tools such as calipers, wrenches, and air guns to perform job functions. • Load and unload production parts and change tools to run CNC milling, drilling, and boring operations. • Deburr parts to meet drawing specifications. • Select appropriate inserts, cutters, and tooling for each operation. • Perform 5S+ housekeeping to maintain a clean, hazard‑free work area. • Conduct in‑process inspections and adjust offsets to ensure parts meet specifications. • Read and interpret technical drawings and shop standards. • Train other operators and support related work cells as needed. • Follow general safety rules and wear required PPE (safety glasses, ear plugs, steel‑toe shoes). • Use computer systems for job functions. • Work in environments with oil, dirt, and heat exposure. • Stand, sit, or move for up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 35 lb regularly.

Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED, have at least one year of manufacturing experience or CNC‑related training, and be authorized to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship. The role is limited to U.S. persons under ITAR regulations and to candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Beltsville, MD, except for active‑duty military applicants. • Possess a high school diploma or GED. • Have at least one year of manufacturing experience or CNC‑related education/certification. • Be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Meet ITAR requirements as a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). • Reside within 50 mi of Beltsville, MD (military exemption applies). • Demonstrate at least two years of manufacturing experience (preferred). • Demonstrate at least one year of CNC experience (preferred). • Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken. • Read and comprehend engineering specifications, drawings, and routings.
