About the Role

• Ensure Planned Preventive Maintenance activities are undertaken in accordance with the schedule. • Review the maintenance/service practices of M&E Contractors to deliver quality work in line with manufacturer recommendations. • Implement and manage Risk and Safety work practices to reduce interruptions to operations. • Develop and implement building procedures and performance measures to simplify work methods and ensure system reliability. • Conduct regular inspections of the facility for energy conservation, maintenance practices, utility management and risk procedures. • Oversee the pre‑emptive maintenance program to reduce the risk of sudden failures of critical equipment. • Ensure an adequate supply of materials and services for building operations and enter into approved supply contracts. • Provide training to on‑site teams on equipment procedures and implementation. • Support service delivery teams on equipment maintenance and upkeep. • Ensure Helpdesk service requests are attended to promptly. • Conduct regular audits to verify procedures are followed and updated as required. • Implement and manage an audit programme to minimise exposure to risk. • Manage and assist with the personal development of all direct reports. • Develop and manage succession plans and appraisals for all direct reports. • Actively train subordinates in all aspects of non‑technical services. • Prepare daily/weekly reports and contribute to monthly management reports for the client. • Provide input to the site monthly report submitted to the client. • Manage service contracts, including inspections and quality management of service delivery. • Manage contract resources to achieve Service Level Agreements and KPIs at optimum cost for the client. • Ensure compliance with statutory fire, health and safety regulations. • Maintain all safety procedures, including crisis management, business continuity and emergency procedures. • Ensure service delivery teams and on‑site contractors complete Health and Safety induction prior to deployment. • Maintain equipment database for the site. • Participate in emergency evacuation procedures, crisis management and business continuity. • Develop innovative programs that reduce utility costs, increase productivity and generate savings. • Initiate strategies to achieve measurable improvements in energy consumption. • Assist with minor project work. • Achieve contracted service levels and performance indicators. • Meet contracted customer satisfaction expectations. • Manage resources to ensure no disruption to client business. • Deliver savings initiatives as agreed with the client. • Execute agreed initiatives according to the Client/JLL roadmap. • Set stretch targets to maximise team performance. • Make difficult decisions, resolve problems and improve operations. • Promote open, constructive and collaborative relations with superiors, subordinates, peers and clients.
