About the Role
The Document Specialist – Proposals is a core member of the Proposal Development Team, handling all aspects of desktop publishing. This role designs, formats, and produces proposal documents using appropriate software and equipment, ensuring they meet client and government requirements. • Format high‑volume proposals in MS Word to comply with Section L requirements of government RFPs. • Edit and incorporate graphics using Adobe Illustrator into Word master copies. • Apply advanced Adobe PDF and MS Word functions (links, file merging, cropping, bookmarks, etc.). • Proofread final documents, correct errors, and ensure overall compliance. • Review RFPs for Section L specifications. • Work evenings and weekends to meet strict delivery deadlines. • Manage multiple proposals concurrently while maintaining quality and deadlines. • Collaborate with graphic artists, proposal coordinators, and managers on design specifications. • Utilize SharePoint for document management and version control.

What You Bring
• Possess at least five years of proposal development experience. • Have five or more years of expert-level MS Word usage, including template design and style guide adherence. • Demonstrate advanced proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and MS Word. • Exhibit strong organizational, teamwork, and customer‑service skills. • Ability to work quickly, accurately, and efficiently under tight deadlines.

The position offers a base salary ranging from $81,100 to $121,600, with additional compensation possible through bonuses, sign‑on payments, relocation assistance, or performance‑based incentives.
